He will leave no stone unturned in exposing the government’s anti-people policies after the padayatra
Telugu Desam Party (TDP) is gearing up to mark the end of its president Nara Chandrababu Naidu’s historic ‘Vastunna Mee Kosam’ walkathon (padayatra) on April 27. The arduous padayatra will come to an end with a massive public meeting in Vizag on Saturday.
The party cadres have already engaged in mobilisation of huge number of people including supporters of the party for the meeting. TDP leaders were asked by the party high command to mobilise 15 lakh people for the meeting, which is going to be a record in the history of the party.
The meeting will also kick off the virtual election campaign to return to power in 2014 General Elections. The top leadership of the party had already decided to make the glaring problems being faced by the people in the State as its agenda for the ensuing elections and it chalked out solutions to all these problems through its election manifesto.
“Our party president had observed innumerable problems being faced by the people in the State during Congress regime. These problems had not only shaken Naidu but also helped him in finding solutions to them. So, our agenda after the padayatra would be highlighting all the public problems. All the problems along with concrete solutions will become our election manifesto for the Assembly elections,” TDP senior leader and former minister Dr Kodela Siva Prasada Rao told Postnoon on Thursday. He added that the party would leave no stone unturned in exposing the State government’s anti-people policies.
