Kodandaram under house arrest

Keeping in view the TJAC’s call to observe AP Formation Day as Telangana Betrayal Day and hoist black coloured flags in 10 Telangana districts, the Hyderabad police kept the TJAC chairman Prof Kodandaram under house arrest at his Tarnaka residence. The house arrest drew severe criticism from several Telangana activists, including TNGOs, which attacked the State government by saying that Kodandaram’s house arrest was undemocratic.
