Reshuffle a joke without removing PM, says TDP
There was no use of the Union Cabinet reshuffle without changing the PM as it was he who was behind all the scams that have taken place in the country in the recent years, TDP leader, Dadi Veerabhadra Rao said. What the UPA has done has insulted the intelligence of the people, he added. Rao said, promoting those involved in scams like Salman Khurshid was a clear instance of the Congress arrogance and its defiance of public opinion.
Rao is sure that the Congress party would not give Telangana either. “Putting more on ministerial gaddi is no great way to favour the State,” he said. Besides, by not including the leaders who were in the forefront of the two movements the Congress leadership had proved again that it was not ready to make its stand clear on the T issue.
On the State government decision to resume land allotted to Lepakshi Knowledge Hub in Ananthapur district, the TDP leader sought to know why so much time was required for it and why lands allotment to Brahmani Steels, Brahmani Airport, Brahmani Infratech, Indu Tech, Kakinada SEZ were yet to be resumed. Meanwhile, another TDP leader Laljan Basha alleged that YSR Congress leader YS Sharmila had hurt the sentiments of Muslims by entering a mosque at Chigicherla village in Ananthapur district.
