4 killed, 18 hurt in City mishap
In a tragic accident, four people were killed and 18 others sustained injuries when a vegetable-laden van lost its track and turned turtle on Road No 1, Banjara Hills, early this morning. The deceased have been identified as G Narasimhalu, G Pentaiah, G China Kistaiah and M Ranga Reddy, all natives of Pulapally of RR district.

Mayor of Seoul called on City mayor
Kim, Young-bae Mayor of Seongbuk-gu Seoul, Korea along with the delegation has called on Mayor Mohd Majid Hussain on Monday. Mayor of Seoul congratulated Hussain for successfully conducting the Conference of Parties (COP-11) in the City recently. The delegation even presented the “Humanitarian Award” to the mayor.

Stolen car seized, one held
The police team of LB Nagar arrested B Mallesh, an alleged car thief, and has recovered a stolen car from his possession. The car was stolen a few days ago from Shiva Ganganagar of LB Nagar. The 30-year-old Mallesh is a resident of Sainagar in Kushaiguda and is said to be a habitual offender. He had been arrested in the past too.

Security guard electrocuted, dies
A Sur Bahadur, 43, a Nepali died of electrocution on Monday at Pooja commercial complex situated in Malakpetgunj while he was trying to fill water in a tank on the roof of the complex. When he tried to start the motor he was electrocuted. The Chadarghat police have registered a case against the complex management and are investigating.
