KTR in trouble for contempt of court
Sircilla MLA KT Rama Rao has landed in trouble for attributing motives to the High Court.
Telangana Rashtriya Samithi chief K Chandrasekhara Rao’s son and Sircilla MLA KT Rama Rao landed himself in trouble by attributing motives to the High Court.
The High Court has taken suo moto cognizance of KT Rama Rao’s criticism on its judgment of the Telangana employees housing society dispute against former Telangana NGO leader Swamy Goud.
The court has directed KT Rama Rao to give an explanation on his comments on the judgment before October 30.
The court has directed him to give reply, explaining his comments.
Confirming the notices, he said he would give a satisfactory reply to the High Court. He said he held the judiciary in high esteem.
He said as the matter was before the court, he could not talk more about it.
Referring to the statement of the PCC chief Botsa Satyanarayana that Congress had mentioned about second SRC (State reorganisation commission) in its election manifesto, KT Rama Rao said that if that was the stand of the ruling party, it would be its death warrant.
He has questioned why Pranab and Sri Krishna committees were set up and why the Telangana announcement was made in 2009, if the second SRC was the stand of Congress.
