Lakshmi Manchu, Taapsee, Aadhi and Sundeep Kishan starrer Gundello Godari is in the final stages of post production. Kumar Nagendra is making his debut as a director with this film and Lakshmi Manchu has produced it under the Manchu Entertainment banner. The film is said to be an adaptation of BVS Rama Rao’s book Godavari Kathalu and it narrates the lives of four characters in the backdrop of the 1986 floods in Godavari which wrecked havoc in the entire region.
“The film’s post production is going on right now and we are planning to launch the film’s audio in couple of weeks. I must thank both Sundeep Kishan and Taapsee for being part of the project. It was really a tough film to shoot, but thanks to my entire team, who put in a lot of effort, I believe we have done a good job,” Lakshmi Manchu said. Ilayaraja has composed the music and the film might release in the first week of November
