| August 10, 2012

A report by the forensic department indicates that haemorrhage led to her death. Police investigations had found that she was suffering from depression after a fight with her husband.

The Cyberabad police seems to have made crucial leads in the suspicious death of Infosys employee B Neelima who was found dead in the Infosys campus few days ago. The doubts shrouding the death of the techie have now been put to rest following a forensic investigation at the Gandhi Hospital. The forensic department submitted its report to the police department on Thursday. The report has said that the death of Neelima occurred because of haemorrhage. The police primarily came to the conclusion that the techie committed suicide as she was disturbed by the developments in her personal life.

“We came to know that she was having problems in her marital life. This might have forced her to commit suicide,” a police official investigating the case told Postnoon.

According to the information gathered by the police, Neelima, went to the US on company’s work and sent about Rs.20 lakh back home.

She wanted to set up a business with this amount but her husband did not allow her to do so. This led to a fight between the couple and pushed Neelima into depression.

Focus Shifts to Infosys campus

The police have now focused their investigation on the Infosys campus where Neelima committed suicide.

The cops who seized the video footage of Neelima’s entry into the campus and details of her movements, are now planning to interrogate the officials and colleagues of Neelima of the IT major from different angles. The idea is to get more information about Neelima’s personal problems.

However, following this incident, the police have decided to ask all IT companies to beef up their security set up to avoid such suicide incidents in future.
