Sundeep Kishan is excited about his comeback after a gap of almost two years. “I haven’t had a single release in Telugu since Prasthanam, which released back in 2010. I kept listening to several scripts after Prasthanam; however, it took me a while to sign the kind of films which I wanted to do,” Sundeep Kishan says.
This year, he’ll soon be seen in Gundello Godaari and Routine Love Story. Apart from these two films, he is part of Raj & DK’s Dopidi and a Tamil film named Yaarudha Mahesh. “I am extremely excited about my role in Gundello Godaari. I can’t tell you much about my role, but I play the role of a guy who loves rooster fighting. It was quite a challenging role and I am glad I am part of a fantastic team who put in their best efforts to make this film,” he adds. Kumar Nagendra has directed this film and it stars Lakshmi Manchu, Aadhi Pinisetty, Taapsee and Sundeep Kishan. The film’s trailer, which was recently released, has got a very good response. Set against the backdrop of 1986 floods in Godavari region, the film is about how the lives of these principal characters get affected. Ilayaraja has composed the music.
