Sandeep on a comeback trail
Music director Sandeep is on a comeback trail in Tollywood. Having worked for Vandemataram Srinivas, MM Sree Lekha and Radha Krishna, he went on to compose music for films like Nee Thodu Kavali, Veedi Veedi Gummadi Pandu and Graduate. “I scored music for Mona Lisa which was a huge hit in Kannada,” Sandeep says. Last year, he composed the background score for Dhada since Devi Sri Prasad was busy with other projects.
His tryst with composing jingles was quite fruitful. “Earlier this year, I composed the jingle for Colgate Maxx Fresh which featured Allu Arjun. I had to come up with 10 different tunes and finally one got selected. Pradeep Sarkar, who directed the ad, appreciated my work. I have also composed a jingle for Coke,” Sandeep says. His upcoming projects include Oh My Love and an untitled film starring Varun Sandesh. “I hope I continue to get good work in the Telugu film industry. I feel, this is where I truly belong,” he says.
