Travel Diaries: Shraddha Das Actress
I travel a lot on work and I have been lucky to go to several places like Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur, Mauritius to shoot my films in the past. Wherever I go, I make sure that I take some time out from my schedule and explore the place. During the shooting of Mugguru, I explored quite a few places in Kuala Lumpur. I make sure that I try the local cuisine and visit the tourist attractions. One of my quirks has always been to ask the locals about the swear words commonly used in the region.
What has been your most memorable trip so far?
When I was in Malaysia, my co-stars Navdeep and Srinivas took me to Sunway Lagoon resort in Kuala Lumpur. It had loads of water rides and other adveturous things to do. I don’t like doing adventurous things and I am scared of heights and speed. But my co-stars forced me to give bungee jumping a shot. I freaked out and they shot a video of the whole scene.
Who’s your travel companion? What’s your idea of an ideal trip?
I love travelling with my hair stylist Nisha. She’s my friend and travel companion. I loved exploring Bangkok till late in the night and spending sometime at the beaches in Thailand.
One thing you’ll never forget to pack.
I make sure that I don’t forget my phone and music when I hit the road.
