Vince Vaughn considers wine life
Swingers star Vince Vaughn has become a reluctant wine expert after getting tipsy during a tasting trip to Napa Valley in California.
The actor insists he’s no wine buff but he fell in love with Napa and bought cases of his favourite reds and whites — and now he has a surplus of booze.
Vaughn says, “By the time you get to the third vineyard, I’m buying four cases, five cases. I wake up the next day, and I’m like, ‘Who bought six cases of this? Who could ever drink this?’
“It’s a beautiful place… (but) pretty soon you love all the wines… I don’t have a wine cellar; I’m not even a wine person, but I got caught up in the moment… At a certain point, I start going, ‘Maybe I’ll buy a couple of acres up here. Maybe I could make wine’.”
