In love with tools
Home Improvement showed the daily trials and tribulations of Tim Taylor, a TV show host raising three mischievous boys with help from his loyal co-host, domineering wife, and genius neighbour
Tim Allen as Tim Taylor
Tim stars as a stereotypical American male, who loves power tools, cars and sports (especially the local Detroit teams). He is a former salesman for the fictional Binford Tool company, and is very much a cocky, accident-prone know-it-all. Now you can catch him on ABC with the Last Man Standing where he plays a married father of three tries to maintain his manliness in a world increasingly dominated by women.
Jonathan Taylor Thomas as Randy Taylor
Randy, a year younger to Brad, was the comedian of the pack, known for his quick-thinking, wisecracks, and smart mouth. He had more common sense than Brad but was not immune to trouble. The teen heartthrob has had a chance to take a break from acting (and earn a degree from Columbia University). Whether he returns to the entertainment is yet to be seen.
Zachery Ty Bryan as Brad Taylor
Brad, popular and athletic, was often the moving factor, who engaged before thinking, a tendency which regularly landed him in trouble. Zachery remained active on the acting front till 2009 and in 2011 produced two movies The Grief Tourist and The Cock Chronicles.
Earl Hindman as Wilson Wilson Jr
He best known for his role as the kindly neighbour (whose lower face was always hidden from television viewers) Wilson W. Wilson Jr. on the sitcom. A long time smoker, Hindman became ill in 2003 and died of lung cancer on December 29, 2003 in Stamford, Connecticut.
