Iconic city: Paradise
One aspect that almost everyone associates Hyderabad with is Hyderabadi biryani. And there are numerous places in the City that serve this delicacy. But the one place that really stands out for dishing out one of the biryanis is Paradise.
This decades-old restaurant is so famous and popular that the entire area surrounding it is called Paradise including the bus stop.
It is believed that diehard fans of Paradise biryani living in other cities make their friends or relatives send them parcels of biryani through air.
It is not just the biryani that it is popular but also the kebabs, faluda, double ka meeta and of course the lip smacking haleem!
Paradise is also well known for its Irani chai and everyday hundreds of regulars come here to have there daily quota of this wonderful chai.
Presently it has three branches — Secunderabad, Mehdipatnam and Madhapur.
