Campus trends usually decide the future of any new product, and if the product is a bike, then a college campus is the best judge for that. Currently, three bikes are the hot favourites on campuses in the city. We take a look

The most famous bike with the youngsters is the Pulsar 220. This bike is an amazing combination of style and speed. Immediately after its release, the bike struck a chord with college students and from what we found out it seems like the Pulsar is what makes heads turn on campus. Jay John, a second year Engineering student at Malla Reddy Engineering College says, “It was love at first sight for me. When it came into the market, I was one of the first to buy it. What an amazing bike it is. I am totally in love with it. It gives me wings.”

On the second spot is the evergreen Royal Enfield. This bike just can’t get old, especially with the students. Mohit Mouldgy, a student at Loyola Academy and a proud owner of a Royal Enfield says, “Class, that’s the word for it. It gives me a lot of power and along with it, it gives me a sense of style. This bike is designed for men. Of course, the mileage is on the lower side, but you can overlook that when you are talking about the Enfield.” Royal Enfield, no matter which one, guarantees you style, and that is what attracts the youngsters. Though it’s not the most famous bike on the campus, it definitely is the most powerful bike.

From speed, to power, we now move onto pure adrenaline — the third bike that is a hit with these speed loving youngsters. We are talking about the Avenger. “The tag line ‘feels like God’ is completely apt for the bike, as it actually makes me feel like that,” says Harsh Vasani, owner of an Avenger.

This bike is sheer class. A 220cc engine along with its deadly looks makes this bike a popular pick for the students on the campus.

“The Avenger is easily the most comfortable bike to ride in India. Style, mileage, class, everything. Just name it and this bike has it. Beginners might find it difficult to manage the extra long handle initially but later, you will get used to it,” he adds. With the class of a cruiser and promise of good mileage this bike is certainly a must for all the stylish men out there.

The call of speed is too good to resist and these bikes just making riding in the city a different experience altogether.
