Directors praise RGV’s rogue methodology
RGV is widely regarded as a trendsetter in Telugu cinema. In his career spanning more than 20 years, he has popularised several methodologies like using a steadicam and Canon 5D. Now he’s pushing the bar even higher. We hear that he is using seven different types of cameras to film his upcoming film Department. In a bid to promote the film, he explained how the film was shot. Ever since this so called ‘rogue methodology’ of filming was unveiled, some of the prominent filmmakers in South have been praising RGV for setting a new standard. “Destroy the rules.. Wow Rgv sir.. SS Rajamouli is also quite impressed with what RGV has done in Department. Puri Jagannadh praised RGV for making a great film and said, “Amithji’s role in Department is Superb.Department is going to change the history. It’s a trend setter.RGV rocks with his ROGUE methodology.(sic)”
