Dhammu collects Rs.31 crore in first week

NTR starrer Dhammu has stormed the box office in the first week of its release. Directed by Boyapati Srinu, the film was released in record number of theatres in Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka. Talking about the film’s success streak, K S Rama Rao said, “Dhammu has been doing phenomenal business at boxoffice. In Andhra Pradesh alone, the film has collected a share of Rs 24 crores and on the whole, the film collected around Rs 31 crores in the first week of its release. We are quite confident that the film will reap profits for all the stakeholders.” He announced these numbers at a press conference held recently in Hyderabad to celebrate the film’s success. NTR thanked his fans for making it such a big hit and also credited the success to the entire team of Dhammu. “I was disappointed when the film received mixed reviews from the audience on the first day but now I am quite happy with the way the film is doing at boxoffice,” NTR said. M M Keeravani had composed the music. Trisha, Karthika, Bhanupriya, Nazar and Suman played important roles in this action entertainer.
