How consultancies work
HR speaks

Over the years looking for that elusive job has become a considerably easy task. Getting a job through a consultancy is one of the easiest ways. But before trusting a consultancy do remember to do a thorough background check and be sure about its credibility and placements. Though there are consultancies that can cost you a fortune to get a job, the placement is said to be a hundred percent. This is a profitable investment as a lot of companies opening up and a lot of jobs needed, it’s here that the consultancies step in get their order from the companies directly for their requirements. After having dropped off your resume at the consultancy of your choice, the consultants will act as the HR recruiters for the companies and process candidates accordingly.
All though it might be a very tedious process to visit a consultancy and go through a couple of extra rounds of interviews, the candidate will learn a whole deal more about the company he or she is applying to more than they ever could by browsing over the Internet. The tedious process of a walk-in interview can be forgotten as the consultancy will conduct most of the personal interview rounds and the technical rounds for the company.
There are however consultancies that do not expect anything from the candidate in terms of a fee as they would be getting paid by the company directly for every offer they make for them. Usually the HR recruiters are very considerate and patient people and will definitely tell the candidate whenever there is a suitable position that opens up in their desired company.
Whether with a fee or not, job consultancies and HR recruiters have proven to be a boon to many job seekers.
