BJP president Kishan Reddy told Postnoon that the party is adopting a two-pronged strategy of taking up the Telangana agitation and Andhra movement.Soon after the victory in the Mahabubnagar by-elections, the BJP, which was lying low, has started making strategies for this purpose.A massive campaign in the Seemandhra region is being planned to impress the pubic on the need to split the State

There are reports that the BJP Party cadres in the name of Andhra Udyama Sangham has launched a campaign with posters leaflets apart from conducting meetings in the region. BJP national leader Venkaiah Naidu is to campaign in the region.

“There are a number of Hindi speaking states. What is wrong if we have two Telugu speaking states?” senior party leader Ch Vidyasagar Rao asked. He was of the opinion that the Telangana would be a reality only when the BJP comes to power in the Centre.Another senior leader Bandaru Dattatreya said that the Telangana movement was in the final stages while the separate Andhra movement has just begun.
