Bulls pray for lady luck

It is after six matches that Deccan Chargers have finally got something to cheer about. The Bulls at last have gained a point in their favour when their match against the Kolkata Knight Riders on Tuesday was abandoned without a ball being bowled, due to torrential downpour.
Having begun the tournament on a dismal note, the Chargers are yet to find their footing. Although having put a decent show yet a win always seemed to be evading them. But for their first clash which they lost by 74 runs, the Bulls have performed fine.
While the batting has hardly disappointed, it is the lack-luster bowling and the sloppy fielding of the Chargers that has let the team down on more occasions than one. While captain Kumar Sangakkara, Shikhar Dhawan and JP Duminy have risen to the occasion most of the time, Dale Steyn has been the only bowler to have done well most of the time.
Today the Bulls take on Pune Warriors India on the latter’s home turf. PWI have had a decent running this season having won four of their eight matches.
Although hammered by Delhi Daredevils in their previous tie, yet the Warriors can surely bounce back.
Skipper Sourav Ganguly, can cause trouble with his all-round skills while Jesse Ryder, with his batting skills, can prove to be very dangerous.
It remains to be seen if Pune Warriors too manage to secure a win over the Chargers like many other teams have done this season or will the Chargers change fortunes in their favour and win their first match in this IPL season.
