Goldie Behl, who is gearing up for the release of his next production London, Paris, New York, says filmmakers are under no pressure nowadays to please every section of the audience, and this allows them to venture into genre-based content.

“I think it’s a great time to make movies. There is enough opportunity to do a low-budget movie and even to make movies designed for certain audiences. Today, you don’t have the pressure of trying to please the audience all over the country. So we can focus and make genre-based movies,” Behl said. The movie, releasing March 2, is the directorial debut of Anu Menon, and features actress Aditi Rao Hydari and Pakistani actor Ali Zafar.

“The unique thing in every romantic-comedy is the freshness, which its director and the cast bring from their side. Romantic stories remain the same. Freshness can be brought either by budding actors or by big stars. So we think Anu, Aditi and Ali have brought freshness to the film,” said Behl.
