Jagan’s relative sent to jail
HYDERABAD: The Special Court for the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) sent Sunil Reddy, a close aide and a relative of YS Jagan, was sent to judicial remand on Wednesday. The CBI sought custody of Sunil Reddy , as he did not give proper replies to the CBI in its interrogation.
The remand report mentioned that Koneru Rajendra Prasad and Sunil Reddy connived and hatched a conspiracy in the Emaar Properties case. The CBI said that the Sunil Reddy took the money collected for the villas which were sold at jacked up prices was taken away by Sunil Reddy. The CBI also said that they confiscated some important documents.
The CBI sought custody of Sunil Reddy for questioning. The special court posted the petition of the CBI seeking narco-analysis tests to Vijaya Sai Reddy to January 30.
The remand of Koneru Rajendra Prasad was extended up to February 1, while the remand of IAS officer Srilakshmi and VD Rajagopal who were arrested in the Obulapuram Mining Case was extended till February 8.
